Where to Stay in the Moselle (Mosel) Valley, Germany in 2025

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclaimer policy.

The Moselle valley is one of our favorite spots to visit in Germany. A little smaller, greener and more laid back than the Upper Middle Rhine, the Moselle is the perfect place to enjoy charming small towns, slopped vineyards, amazing castles, scenic overlooks, river cruises and historic sights.

After many visits and exploration up and down the Moselle, we recommend staying in the towns below. They are all lovely and are within easy driving distance of each other. Accommodations in the Moselle Valley are characterized by being family-run, offering traditional cozy rooms, personal service and a unique local charm. This area is very popular in the summer so be sure to book early!
